Some changes have been made over the past year within the Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT). PC Chris Green has been appointed as the new community beat manager (CBM) for the beat area. PC Green will be policing the Sleaford north and south rural villages. Prior to this role PC Green was a response officer at Sleaford and North Hykeham for 10 years and knows the area every well.
Although I have returned to the Sleaford NPT as a part time PCSO, both myself and PCSO Colin Ironmonger will be moving on to pastures new and taken voluntary redundancy.
Between Colin and I, we have 36 years of policing experience and been working in the rural communities around Sleaford together since 2013. We have made a lot of community connections during this time, all whom will be greatly missed.
Lincolnshire Police are reducing numbers of PCSO’s force wide with only 2 PCSO’s being based at Sleaford Police Station covering the Sleaford town centre beat.
