NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HECKINGTON PARISH COUNCIL

Dear Sir/Madam

I hereby give you notice that the Meeting of Heckington Parish Council will be held in Council Chambers, St Andrews Street, Heckington on Monday 29th January 2024 at 7.00pm.

Members of the Press and Public are invited to attend.

All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

AGENDA

1.   Chairman’s Welcome and opening remarks 

2.   To receive apologies for absence

3.   To receive a declaration of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

4.   To consider any requests for dispensations received at or before the start of the meeting.

5.   Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held Monday 27th November 2023 and minutes of the Precept meeting held Monday 22nd January 2024

6.   Public Participation

Fifteen minutes will be set aside for Members of the Public to make comments or suggestions.  There Chairman reserves the right to limit each individual to a maximum of 3 minutes.  No decisions will be taken on any issues raised, and items may be carried forward to the next meeting’s agenda.

(1)   Applications to be ratified 

i.   24/0005/FUL – Erection of agricultural building and associated hardstanding Mile Cottage Boston Road Heckington Sleaford Lincolnshire

ii.   24/0101/TCA – T1 - Eucalyptus - Fell tree, remove stump and grind out the root base. 25 High Street, Heckington, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9RA

iii.   24/0094/TCA - T1 - Oak - Fell to prevent outgrowth of location. Tree is showing signs of significant damage caused during the construction of the house which is positioned very close to the tree. Homeowners are worried about potential damage to foundations now and in the future as well as it's likelihood of failure due to existing damage. T2 - Ash - Reduce Eastern side of Ash by approx 3m and Western side by approx. 2m, removing lower lateral limb to balance, as per annotated picture enclosed. T3 - Walnut - Trim crown by 1m all round to prevent outgrowth of location. 7 Banks Lane, Heckington, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9QY
