NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HECKINGTON PARISH COUNCIL

Dear Sir/Madam      

I hereby give you notice that the Annual Meeting of Heckington Parish Council will be held in the Village Hall, Heckington on Monday 30th May 2022 at 7.30pm.  

The Village Hall will operate in line with any current restriction advice and mitigations.  Attendees may continue wearing face coverings if so wished.  Members of the Press and Public are invited to attend, but there may be limited seating.  To reserve a seat, please contact the Clerk on either 01529 460174 or email heckingtonparishcouncil@outlook.com  

All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Fifteen minutes will be set aside for Members of the Public to make comments or suggestions.  There Chairman reserves the right to limit each individual to a maximum of 3 minutes.  No decisions will be taken on any issues raised, and items may be carried forward to the next meeting’s agenda.

i.   To approve payments as listed separately

ii.   To approve additional payment for increase in Jubilee Mug costs – additional £105.84

iii.   To approve ‘in principle, subject to internal audit’ the Financial Audit figures for 2021/2022 (Annual Governance and Accounting Return 2021/2022, Form 3) and provide update on internal audit report

iv.   To receive update on CIL funding and consider donation to Cricket Club

v.   To consider joint purchase of a gazebo with HAVCS

14.   To receive update from P/Cllr Mrs Mandy Cooke regarding outcome of discussions with HCSP – decision to be made regarding loan repayment outstanding from 2021

15.   To discuss works to old play park area by LCC’s contractor Balfour Beatty as part of the initiative ‘Workforce Pledge’ – labour/manpower free of charge, to include remove and disposal of old rubber matting.  To ratify use of this same contractor to lay new surface of ‘grass crete’ or similar at quoted cost of £17,500 inc VAT for the materials.
